We are a Providence, Rhode Island, based non-profit a cappella feminist chorus made up of a diverse group of women representing varied interests and spanning at least three generations. Our music is widely varied, including songs of the Civil Right's movement, spirituals, folk, contemporary, original compositions, and more.

The mission of WomanSpiritRising is to utilize the strength and spirit of music in songs that inspire, educate and empower women and the larger community working for freedom, justice and peace.
