- We were invited to perform for women in the medium security prison. it was an optional activity for the women and was very well attended. There was a lot of audience participation and singing along with the chorus. When we left some of the women asked when we would be back for another performance...we hope it will be soon.

This will not be our typical WSR performance of our "traditional" music. This will be very different as we will be accompanying Jenifer Smith and two musicians on two of Jenifer's origional compositions.
We will be brought out by barge to the middle of the Providence River in the vicinity of the RISD auditorium. The 8PM set will be a multimedia event with music, lights and projected images. It should be quite the production.

Note: due to projected rainy weather, Jenifer and the Waterfire committe had to cancel this event. They felt that it was not safe. It is possible that this event will be resheduled for next spring.
